Justice For Heehaw

HeeHaw was a baby miniature donkey at a family farm in Rockmart, Georgia. He was bottle-raised. He worked petting zoos — kids fed him out of their hands. He was the friendliest animal on that place.

Late one night, officers came onto the property during a search for a missing child. HeeHaw did what he'd been raised to do and walked up to them, braying. According to his family, the officers tried to tase him first. Then one of them shot him. The missing child was found safe at a church nearby a short time later.

The officer is on paid leave. The Georgia Department of Agriculture is investigating. The bodycam footage still hasn't been released.
